LRS Assessment Procedures
LRS has adopted a Standards-Based Assessment System. We want to improve student achievement for all students in every classroom every day; research supports standards-based assessment as a basis of communication that will help students learn more effectively through better feedback. Please refer to forms below that explain the assessments
and answer frequently asked questions.
Honor Roll Criteria & Habits of Learning
Below is information not included on the Google calendar. Senior notices are on the Middle and High School Guidance Page.
Middle School Basketball Awards will be held on Thursday, March 5th, at 2:00 in the gymnasium.
JV and Varsity Basketball Awards will be held on Thrusday, March 5th, at 6pm in the Multi-Purpose Room.
If you or someone you know needs hunter education, Ammonoosuc Valley Fish & Game Club in Bath will be teaching a class on April 16, 18, & 19 for those 12 and over. To register, go to www.wildlife.state.nh.us/Hunting/hunter_ed.htm which opens on March 19. If you have questions, please call Dave Falkenham at 728-8958 or see Mr. Superchi.
JUNIORS If you plan to take the SAT on June 6th you must register by May 8th. Go to collegeboard.org. See Mrs. Coleman for a fee waiver. You should do practice tests well in advance.

LRS has a new Facebook Page! The Facebook page is informational only and will have upcoming events and updated information throughout the year, including needed supplies for the start of school.

A Colonial Visitor
Richard Alberini paid the 5th & 6th grade social studies students a visit. He role-played Obadiah Wentworth, cousin to Governor Wentworth, from the colonial period and shared about life in the colonies.

Lisbon Regional School has an Offer vs. Serve Lunch Program. Federal guidelines require that students are offered five items (a grain, meat or meat alternative, fruit, vegetable, and milk) of which they have to choose a minimum of three, one of which must be a fruit or vegetable. Alternate lunch (Sunbutter & Jelly, Turkey & Cheese, or Ham & Cheese served on either WW Bread or a WW Wrap or a Chef Salad with a WW Wrap with the sides of the day) offered daily. Menu is subject to change, notice posted when available.
